Is it worth an Owner Operator’s time to be leased to a cheap or “average-rate” Carrier and putting in “more miles”? Explain.

Is it worth an O/O’s time to look for a Carrier, agents or brokers who pay WELL ABOVE AVERAGE rates per mile? Explain.

If an Owner Operator took 1 to 2 hours a day of his spare time, or 5 hours or so a week searching for a Carrier, agents, contacts or direct customers that charged rates 2 or 3 times the average rate, would that be time well spent? Explain.
